Eleventh Hour To Do Something
Before Iran Gets the N-Bomb

SAN DIEGO— If the atomic bombs of Hiroshima and Nagasaki would be available to the American military as early as 1941, there may have been no Auschwitz and no Dachau.  No Maidanek and no Treblinka.

With one “mushroom” from the sky over Berlin, the nazi regime of Germany would have crumbled and hurriedly surrendered.

Of course, it is possible that President Roosevelt would have been less inclined to rescue Jewish lives than his successor, President Truman, was in preventing millions of Americans from being lost in a costly invasion of Japan.  But this is not the point.

The year is not 1941 – it is 2006.

The subject is not nazi Germany – it is nazi Iran.

However, the issue remains the same.  It is the liquidation of another six million Jews, living in Israel today.

Not only is the “writing on the wall”; it is in every newspaper in the world as well as on every air wave in the atmosphere.  In fact, Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s forecast for Israel is clearer and more precise than Hitler’s ever was.

In spite of Hitler’s Mein Kampf promises of ridding Germany of all the Jews, the world chose to ignore them and instead, to concentrate on negotiations, diplomacy and appeasement.  Hence, World War II and the Holocaust.

The world was spared an even greater catastrophe because the German scientists failed to develop their “bomb” before the allies marched into Berlin.

Today’s Teheran, backed by Syria, Hezbollah, Hamas and millions of Islamic fundamentalists, are preparing to annihilate the Jewish State.  They may be less inclined to attempt “nuking” America because even the crazies in Iran realize that the United States will not hesitate to retaliate boldly and immediately.

Not so with Israel.

Teheran today has the missile capability to reach every city in Israel.  It need not bother.  With one or two well aimed atomic explosions, Israel may be placed in no position to retaliate.

This is not a movie scenario.  This is the declared program under overt preparations.  The facts are well known to Israel as well as to the U.S. intelligence and that of Britain.

Nevertheless, very little has been done to prevent this catastrophe from unfolding.  President Bush has his hands tied in Iraq.  Prime Minister Blair is in the process of hanging his hat.  The United Nations, with Moslem votes and French intrigue, will continue to delay action to force Iran into abandoning its nuclear schemes.  Israel, once again,  will stand alone facing the inevitable.

This is exactly the situation at the present moment.

The burning question is:  What is to be done to prevent a new Holocaust?

The answer lies where it could not have existed 65 years ago.  Jews are no longer alone.  Neither are they helplessly timid and defenseless.  Now, there is a beacon of hope and a ray of light:  There is Israel!

Today is the time to act.  If we fail to do so, there will be no time tomorrow.  Every Jew and indeed, every true American patriot who can speak, must speak out in favor of decisively incapacitating the madmen in Teheran.  Every humanitarian who can write, must appeal to the leaders of Israel and the United States of America and to stimulate them into action.

It is well past the state of diplomacy, negotiations or even sanctions.  It is time for action – drastic, powerful and immediate.  Ideally this action must be coordinated between American and Israeli armed forces.  Both Lebanon and Iraq should be (temporarily) put “on hold” while Iran is subdued completely and permanently.  It is towards such action that every American, whether Christian, Jewish or atheist must aspire, hope for and act.  Every honest citizen must do all humanly possible to promote such action executed by a combined effort of these friends and allies.

If this will not be achieved for whatever reason, it will be left up to Israel to act on its own.  With its limited power, as well as material resources, Israel can ill afford to venture into a conventional conflict with Iran.  It will therefore become imperative to utilize the most powerful weapon in its possession.

There might be as many as twenty potential targets, facilities where Iran’s nuclear capacity is being developed.  Thus, some twenty “mushrooms” might be necessary to liquidate Iran’s nuclear dreams together with its nuclear scientists working on the sites.  No doubt there will be an enormous collateral damage done to the civilian population.  But it will be no different from the devastation inflicted on the populations of Nagasaki and Hiroshima.  After all, war is war.

Unless Iran is disabused from its nuclear ambitions, it will become a threat to Israel’s existence and to the very future of the civilized, non-Muslim world.

This is indeed the 11th hour.  It is in our hands to prevent another Holocaust.  We will all share in
the responsibility if we fail to do so.
